The Social Service Department of CCC&TSPM was established in 2003. Our goal is to create a public welfare atmosphere in the church, develop social service ministries, and serve Chinese society. Current programs include student aid & child and adolescent service, medical and health care, senior care, community development, social welfare, disaster relief, capacity building, targeted poverty alleviation, and environmental protection.

There were over tens of thousands of ethnic minorities living on Mount Gaoligong in Mangkuan County, Longyang District, Baoshan City. This place is barren and of severe living condition, where the people living there were in poverty. However, since 2017, local government began to build accommodations to relocate these residents. So far, there are 989 households moving into their new homes.

At the beginning of the New Year, Changanjie Church in Jiaohe City, Jilin Province gave church donation to brothers and sisters in Yingjiang and Longchuan County, Dehong Dai & Jingpo ethnic autonomous prefecture, Yunnan province, and hoped to help them out with the money.

The elderly in Hulunbuir Lusi Nursing Home had a joint birthday party for the first time.

On September 14, 2018, the “2018 Religious Charity Week ‘Granny Zhou’ Love Kitchen” initiated by the CCC&TSPM was successfully held in the Yuyao City Hall Senior Care Center (YSCC) in Zhejiang Province. The event aims to promote the traditional Chinese culture of respecting the seniors. The program provides a nutritious and balanced love meal for the seniors in need by cooperating with the church nursing home.
